Prof Johnson Egonmwan

He is a Professor of Advocacy, a renowned author and a seasoned administrator with a demonstrated history of excellent services and remarkable achievements both in the public and private sectors. Prof Egonmwan retired as a Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Commerce and Industry where he had earlier served as Director of Planning and also as Director-General.
In the Development Sector, Prof Egonmwan had served as an independent Specialist Consultant on Public Finance Management and Governance Reform to the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), European Union (EU), UK Department for International Development (UK/DFID, now FCDO) and the National Planning Commission among others. In 2021, he was a Nobel Peace Prize Nominee for Economic Sciences.
